Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 October 2026 · Please read these terms carefully before using the Lyvo platform.
Partner offers and referrals
A LYVO partner may earn commission for introducing your business. Your eligible offer, discount duration, free-service period and amount due are shown before checkout. A valid code and its corresponding link use the same offer. Offers do not automatically stack.
Free service and failed payments do not use paid benefit months. On annual billing, the discount covers only the eligible months included in the invoice. Cancellation or reactivation does not restart an offer. The partner’s commission does not control your subscription access.

1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (‘Terms’) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (‘Customer’, ‘you’, or ‘your’) and Lyvo Ltd (‘Lyvo’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’) governing your access to and use of the Lyvo platform, including the web application at lyvo.app, any associated mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the ‘Service’).
By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are using Lyvo on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
2. The Service
2.1 Description
Lyvo is a daily operations management platform designed for independent cafés, bakeries, and similar food service businesses. The Service enables users to manage compliance logs, shift checklists, temperature monitoring, staff records, delivery checks, production logs, and related operational data.
2.2 Availability
We aim to make the Service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We will endeavour to give advance notice of planned maintenance.
2.3 Changes to the Service
We continuously develop and improve Lyvo. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time. We will notify you of significant changes that materially affect your use of the Service with reasonable advance notice where possible.
3. Accounts
3.1 Registration
To use Lyvo you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You must keep your account information up to date.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@lyvo.app if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
3.3 Account Types
The account holder (‘Admin’) has full control over the account, including the ability to add staff users, manage locations, and manage the subscription. Admins are responsible for the actions of all users they add to the account.
3.4 One Account Per Business
Each subscription covers one business entity. If you operate multiple legal entities, each requires a separate account unless agreed otherwise in writing with Lyvo.
4. Subscriptions and Payment
4.1 Subscription Plans
Lyvo is offered on a subscription basis. Current pricing is displayed at lyvo.app/pricing. Subscriptions are charged per location per month. The number of active locations determines your monthly fee.
4.2 Free Trial
We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, you must provide payment details to continue using the Service. If you do not provide payment details, your account will be suspended.
4.3 Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, depending on your chosen plan. Payment is processed by Stripe. By providing payment details, you authorise Lyvo to charge your payment method automatically on each billing cycle.
4.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change our pricing. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase by email. Continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
4.5 Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will retain access until the end of the paid period.
4.6 Late Payment
If payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to collect payment again. If payment remains outstanding after 14 days, we reserve the right to suspend your account until payment is made.
5. Acceptable Use
5.1 Permitted Use
You may use the Service only for lawful business purposes in connection with operating your food service business. You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
5.2 Prohibited Use
You must not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any malicious code
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties without our written consent
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its performance
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service using automated means
- Submit false or misleading operational data that misrepresents your compliance status
6. Your Data
6.1 Ownership
All operational data you enter into Lyvo remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your data.
6.2 Licence to Us
By using the Service, you grant Lyvo a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your operational data for any other purpose without your consent.
6.3 Data Export
You may export your data at any time from within the platform. We support export in PDF and CSV formats for all compliance logs and reports.
6.4 Data on Termination
Subscription cancellation does not itself erase your account. You can request an export or account erasure through LYVO. Once an erasure request is recorded, access is disabled and the scheduled deletion process starts after 30 days, subject to documented legal holds and restricted records needed for accounting or outstanding obligations. The Privacy Policy explains the separate retention rules for referrals and shared recognition.
6.5 Data Accuracy
You are responsible for the accuracy of data entered into the platform. Lyvo does not verify the accuracy of operational logs. Using Lyvo does not guarantee compliance with food safety regulations — you remain responsible for ensuring your business meets all applicable legal requirements.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our IP
The Lyvo platform, including its design, software, features, branding, and documentation, is owned by Lyvo Ltd and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
7.2 Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
8. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public information of the other party that is designated as confidential or that reasonably should be understood to be confidential. This obligation does not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, or required to be disclosed by law.
9. Disclaimers
9.1 No Compliance Guarantee
Lyvo is a tool to help you manage and record your operational compliance activities. Use of Lyvo does not guarantee that your business will pass food safety inspections or comply with all applicable regulations. You remain solely responsible for your regulatory compliance.
9.2 Service Provided ‘As Is’
The Service is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9.3 Third Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including Stripe, Twilio, and others. We are not responsible for the performance, availability, or policies of these third-party services.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- Lyvo's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Lyvo in the 12 months preceding the claim
- Lyvo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill
- Lyvo shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials
- Lyvo shall not be liable for any regulatory penalties or inspection failures resulting from the accuracy or inaccuracy of data entered into the platform
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lyvo Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law; or (d) any data you submit to the platform.
12. Term and Termination
12.1 Term
These Terms remain in effect for as long as you have an active Lyvo account.
12.2 Cancellation by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings at lyvo.app/settings or by contacting hello@lyvo.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
12.3 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if: (a) you breach these Terms; (b) you fail to pay amounts due after a 14-day notice period; (c) we are required to do so by law; or (d) we determine that your use poses a security risk.
12.4 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 14 survive termination.
13. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must cancel your account before the effective date.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at hello@lyvo.app to resolve disputes informally. We will use reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute within 30 days.
